Position Announcement. The Division of Physics, Mathematics, and Astronomy at Caltech invites applications for Professorial positions in experimental and theoretical physics. We are primarily interested in candidates for a tenure-track appointment, but will consider applications for tenured professorial positions as well. The initial term of appointment for a non-tenured position is normally four years and appointment is contingent upon completion of the Ph.D. degree. We are seeking highly qualified candidates committed to a career in research and teaching.

Applications should include a curriculum vitae, a list of papers published and submitted (with refereed papers indicated), and a brief essay describing the applicant's current research interests and the program of research he/she proposes to carry out at Caltech. Applicants are also requested to have at least three letters of reference submitted on line at http://www.pma.caltech.edu/physics-search/ref/
